These are the cope sets included in our Tube Jig kits, in case you bought a kit without them, or would like to be able to mock up more tubes. We designed these to be easy to swap for changing angles and end styles. This also allowed us to make these the weak link, because the Tube Jig is made of plastic it's inevitable that somethings gonna break. These are the cheapest part so replacements won't break the bank. Through our significant destructive testing we've found that a side drop will usually pop them out, however an end or slap hit from 3 feet will chip an end or break it at the bottom. They can be super glued back together, but it will still be weak.
-Cope sets include one of each size.
-Add a second set to make symmetrical tubes.
These are not designed slide over tube or be used as tracer templates, they are the size and angle that's indicated, you can however use these to make tracer templates.
0-50° copes match perfect tube notches, with a square cut end and reference line for cope start. 60-80° copes have a "normal to surface" cut and are designed to be easy to copy to your final tube by transferring the profile. This is done by setting the cope on your tube and eying the side profile to transfer, along with the rotation. When done correctly an 80° cope can be marked, cut and finished in about 10 min. and it's correct on the first shot!
