With Cutting Slats [+$36.00]
The Plasma Table will sit on top of a Behrens 17 gal. tub or standard 55 gal. drum, this creates a very economical and effective plasma cutting water table. All of the sparks/slag and most of the smoke is captured with a 5" air gap above the water. We include a quick release clamp with an extended arm to firmly hold a straight edge, guide or our Plasma Stencils. This allows you to use both hands for guiding your plasma cutter to make precise cuts. Because the clamp can be positioned 360° around the table, you can usually cut an entire small part out without moving the material. The usable cutting area is 21".

The cutting slats just drop into place, which makes them easy to replace. They are 1/8" x 2" flat bar and 20 feet is required when purchased separately. The table requires welding to assemble, it will take about 30 minutes to layout, tack and weld.
Bolts are included to attach the table to the tub, which makes it easy to move around. The Plasma Table just rests on top of the tub, so it's easy to take apart and throw in the corner when your not using it. The Behrens 17 gallon galvanized steel tub is a great choice for those that want a quick and easy set up. Most farm or hardware stores have them in stock and they are sold through many online stores, just make sure you get the Behrens brand. It takes about 10 gallons of water to get a 5" air gap. Or a standard 55 gallon drum can be cut down to 8" high and use 5 gallons of water.

Must have for plasma cutting
Wanted to copy the idea but never got around to it. Wife bought me table and tub. Easy to weld up plasma table top. Made stand to hold tub and have the plasma table level with shop tables. Amazing the difference cutting over water! Much cleaner and healthier. Had lots of parts to cut out for a project. The table clamping system worked excellent. Being able rest a arm for pivot on the table edges made steady high quality cuts.

Great addition to the shop. For those without a cnc plasma table, this is the next best thing. Keeps the cleanup of cutting to a minimum, and less gases floating around your face when cutting tabs and brackets out.

Drain Added, No Regrets
Love it. I added a drain- the same one in your kitchen sink. The small cart I built, I cut a hole in the top for the drain to go thru. Add lots of hooks/hangers for your helmet, cords, gun. The tub is also available thru Home Depot. When building, tack the slats in (as per the instructions) when I had completed the build, I ground off 2 of the welds so I could access the drain, as well as any parts that fell in. Love it!
