3/10/25 Update - We dropped the included deck options. Shipping was expensive with the size and there were too many issues with lost and delayed packages. The description below might not be fully up to date.
This is the best all around ramp. 2' long ramp x 4' wide gives a nice transition and is wide enough to actually hit at speed. It folds down to 5" tall and is easy to transport to new spots. With the frame only option, you'll need to supply your own top deck which is available at any local lumber store, check out the link below. Aluminum frame is easy to assemble, start feet
hold ramp solid at any angle, leg feet keep it planted. Ramp deck is
1/8" textured tempered hardboard, 1/8 scale ramp has two layers for more
impact resistance.
Assembly required - Takes 30-40 min. - Frame bolts together with expanding tube inserts, then clamp deck and use pilot holes in frame to drill and screw the top deck to frame.
-
Frame Only - Get the frame only and go to your local lumber store to pickup a sheet; or Home Depot has pre-cut 2'x4' sheets at $6.50 and they are the same textured hardboard that's included with our kits. Or a full 4'x8' sheet is only $13 and they will cut it to size for free, which gives you extras.

- Specs -
- Folds down to 5" high or 3" if you remove legs. 1/10 scale weighs 10#, 1/8 scale weighs 15#
- Three Settings - 40° is a good long kicker (20-40'), 50° angle
high jump launches well over 10' high, 60° angle is great for low to
med. speed back flips.
- 3/4" Aluminum frame is easy to assemble with expanding tube inserts
- Adjustable legs with 3D printed feet to keep ramp planted
- Start feet at base of ramp flip around to hold the start of ramp solid at higher angles
- Hardboard deck is weather resistant, give it a coat of paint for wet climates. Use smooth side for mostly high speed, or textured side for lower speed stunts.
- Other deck options - ABS and Lexan are good upgrades
-ABS
- Pros - It's more weather resistant and tougher than hardboard. One
1/8" ABS layer = Two to Three layers of 1/8" hardboard. This also helps
to shave weight for transporting.
- ABS - Cons - More expensive, not good UV resistance. You also need to countersink holes for the flat head deck screws.
-
Polycarbonate - (Lexan) is more expensive, but clear, tougher and UV resistant.
DON'T use Acrylic, it will crack and shatter like (Plexi-glass)
- Aluminum - or sheetmetal is NOT recommended, because screws will stick up and gouge your RC car chassis.
- Plywood - is NOT recommended, since it's essentially what we are creating with this ramp design.
