4/1/25 Product start - We are still finalizing this ramp product listing. The information below may not be accurate.
With our new 1:5 scale ramp also comes a new 1:8 scale version. This takes the same design as the 1:5 scale, but uses mostly 3/4"x .065 tube to save on cost. This new design stays planted better than our previous 2x4 ramp, which is now being labeled for 1:10 scale. This new design has a separate start transition that allows the main
ramp frame to stay planted on the ground, we then added a cross bar on
the legs, having this new setup keeps the ramp held in place much
better. The start transition is 1/8" Lexan with a 3/4" HDPE cross bar
that all comes pre-drilled and chamfered. This new design is flexible, but
also uses the cross bar to stay in contact with the ground, this combo
allows for a perfect solution for a long lasting ramp.
This is the best all around ramp. 2' long ramp x 4' wide gives a nice transition and is wide enough to actually hit at speed. It folds down to 5" tall and is easy to transport to new spots.
Assembly required - Takes about 1 hour - Frame bolts together with expanding tube inserts, then clamp deck and use pilot holes in frame to drill and screw the top deck to frame.
Ramp Deck - 2 sheets of 1/8" Masonite (hardboard) are cheap and work good, or get 1 sheet of 1/8" Lexan (polycarbonate) for a longer lasting deck. Lexan will need to be chamfered for flat head screws to sit flush.
