Description

This 4'x4' ramp is the biggest and best ramp available for up to 1:8 scale RC cars/trucks. Launch over 100 foot gaps and 30 foot high jumps with this setup. Ramp is adjustable from 35° to 60° launch angles, with telescoping legs. Available in 1:8 & heavier duty 1:5 scale versions. The main design is similar to our other ramps with a separate start transition that allows the main ramp frame to stay planted on the ground. The start transition is 1/8" Lexan with a 3/4" HDPE cross bar that all comes pre-drilled and countersunk. This new design is flexible, but also uses the cross bar to stay in contact with the ground, this combo allows for a perfect solution for a long lasting ramp.

Assembly required - Takes 1-3 hours - Frame bolts together with expanding tube inserts, then clamp deck and use pilot holes in frame to drill and screw the top deck to frame.

Ramp Deck - Two layers (4x8 sheet cut in half) of 1/8" masonite (hardboard) are cheap and work good, or get 1 sheet of 1/8" Lexan (polycarbonate) for a longer lasting deck. Lexan will need to be countersunk for flat head screws to sit flush, it needs to be ONE 4'x4' foot sheet. Because this requires a large deck it is best to find a local plastic supplier, that you won't need to pay shipping on. Do NOT get plexiglass (acrylic). Other plastics or metals will also work, but we haven't tested them.
