Buyers Guide
Which ramp to choose? - Wider
is generally better, if you have the room. However our 4' foot wide
ramps require you to source your own deck and assemble it too. This is
fine for DIY guys with tools and those with suppliers nearby.
Kit
or RTR - The kit is great when you want everything and like to build
things. The RTR Ready to run version is perfect for people who don't
build things often, have many tools, or just wanna have more fun right
away.
Ramp style and angle - Personally I
think our Flat Ramps are the most useful ramp. They are very affordable
(or you can make a fixed 30° angle version) and great for anyone to have
fun anywhere. Our curved ramps really launch cars and that can get a
little high for landing on pavement, which is one of the most common
places to play. Our Flat ramp at a 20° or 30° setting is perfect for
pavement, actually racing, or teaching new drivers how to jump. Remove
the start transition for some front flip fun, but practice in grass
first, and prepare to break things. The 40° setting gets good air and works almost as good as a curved ramp, this is where having a proper transition starts to make a difference.
All of our
curved ramps are going to jump smoother and are designed to really
launch your car. The 40° gets good distance, the 50° is best for big air
and I usually want to have a landing so I don't kill the car. The 60°
is perfect for slower hits and backflips, give it a little boost at the
end and just about any car will come around.
