We had to go back to the drawing board once we got an Arrma Outcast 8S, this thing is fast and violent! It required a step up to 1" x .125 wall aluminum tube to take the hits and not bend, we've tested this ramp with high speed gears (stock motor) at full speed with the Outcast 8S and Traxxas XRT. So far we are well over 200 hits at the 50° setting and full throttle, 1/8" Lexan (polycarbonate) did crack after a decent amount of hits so we recommend 3/16" (Amazon link below). This new design has a separate start transition that allows the main ramp frame to stay planted on the ground, we then added a cross bar on the legs, having this new setup keeps the ramp held in place much better. The start transition is 1/8" Lexan with a 3/4" HDPE cross bar that all comes pre-drilled and chamfered. This new design is flexible, but also uses the cross bar to stay in contact with the ground, this combo allows for a perfect solution for a long lasting ramp.
Assembly required - Takes 1-2 hours - Frame bolts together with expanding tube inserts, then clamp deck and use pilot holes in frame to drill and screw the top deck to frame. The deck will need to be chamfered to allow the included flat head screws to be flush.
